Na het ontbijt zetten we de koffer weer in de auto en gaan op pad voor een bewust lange rit. Nadat we gisteren en eergisteren enkel over snelwegen zijn gereden gaan we nu over de binnendoor wegen. We gaan eerst richting het oosten, en rijden naar Paris, IL, een leuk middelgroot stadje. We gooien daar de tank weer vol, voor de ge\u00efnteresseerden, 51 dollar voor 10,6 Gallon. Een gallon is ongeveer 3,8 liter. Vanuit Paris gaan we vervolgens naar het zuiden, naar Terre Haute, IN, waar we bij een Pie Company een koffie drinken, met uiteraard een stuk pie. We zijn ondertussen naar een tijdsverschil met Europa van 7 uur naar een verschil van 6 uur gegaan. Indiana ligt in een andere tijdzone dan Illinois. De volgende halte is Brazil, IN, weer meer oostelijk, en na nog een stuk oostelijk te hebben gereden gaan we weer zuidelijk naar Martinville, IN en dan weer oostelijk naar Edinburgh, IN, het eindpunt van vandaag. In Edinburgh heb je het Indiana Premium Outlet, waar veel grote merken een outlet store hebben. We hebben daar rustig rondgekeken en Bene heeft er twee Levi&#8217;s 501 spijkerbroeken gescoord. Ons hotel, wederom een Best Western ligt aan de overkant van deze outlet en is dus snel bereikt. Een Applebees is de andere overbuurman, dus ons diner staat ook al vast.
